I’m Cheryl Russo, the owner and travel advisor behind Impulsive Escape Travel. As a Gig Harbor travel advisor, I work with travelers throughout the United States.

“Are you guys going to be here on…?” is something my friends and family ask me all the time because I travel so often. I make a point of experiencing destinations, resorts and ships for myself instead of relying only on what I can learn from a website or brochure.

I plan everything from cruises, resorts and group trips to custom international vacations and more complex multi-destination itineraries.

I work with travelers heading all over the world, but Europe, Alaska, Mexico and the Caribbean, Hawaii, and the Nordic regions are places I know especially well from my own travels. Cruising is also a major part of my experience, from mainstream and premium ships to river, luxury, small-ship and expedition cruising.

Alaska is especially personal to me. I spent a summer living and working in the Alaska bush in the Wrangell-St. Elias mountain range in my early 20s, and I’ve returned many times since by both land and sea.

I’m also a Northern Lights enthusiast, and European Christmas markets are another favorite. Those are trips I especially enjoy researching, planning and experiencing myself.
