Alaska Inside Passage Expedition: Glacier Bay & Wildlife
An 8-day Alaska expedition between Juneau and Sitka with Glacier Bay, Zodiac exploration, wildlife and flexible days in remote Southeast Alaska.
Southeast Alaska beyond the usual ports
This expedition-style sailing keeps the focus on wildlife, glaciers and the smaller places that are difficult to reach on a conventional cruise. The itinerary runs between Juneau and Sitka, with time in Glacier Bay and flexible exploration throughout Southeast Alaska.
Days are built around what conditions make possible, with naturalists, Zodiac outings, kayaking and hiking giving you more ways to experience the coastline than simply watching it from the ship.
Itinerary at a glance
- Begin in Juneau or Sitka, depending on departure direction
- Explore Endicott Arm and the Dawes Glacier area
- Visit Petersburg and wildlife-rich channels in Southeast Alaska
- Look for whales around Frederick Sound, Chatham Strait and Icy Strait
- Spend time in Glacier Bay National Park
- Explore additional islands, bays and fjords as conditions allow
Expedition routes remain flexible because wildlife, weather and ice conditions can change. I’ll confirm the exact sailing direction, ship and current fare before you book.
