Galápagos without sleeping on a yacht
This ten-day small-group itinerary is a good alternative for travelers who love the idea of the Galápagos but would rather return to a hotel at night. It moves between San Cristóbal, Floreana, Isabela and Santa Cruz by plane and private speedboat, then finishes with a night in the Ecuadorian highlands.
You still get the wildlife that makes the Galápagos special: sea lions, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, giant tortoises and snorkeling around volcanic formations. The big difference is the land-based format and upgraded hotels.
