Sample Itinerary
Days 1–3 | Tokyo & Kanazawa
Start in Tokyo before traveling by rail to Kanazawa for gardens, the historic geisha district and samurai-era neighborhoods.
Days 4–6 | Takayama & Hiroshima
Continue into the Japanese Alps for Takayama and traditional cultural experiences, then travel onward to Hiroshima for its Peace Memorial Park and museum.
Days 7–10 | Miyajima & Kyoto
Visit Miyajima before continuing to Kyoto for temples, shrines, historic districts and time to explore independently.
Days 11–14 | Mount Fuji Region & Tokyo
Travel to the Lake Kawaguchi area near Mount Fuji for scenic time and a traditional meal before returning to Tokyo for the final part of the journey.
