Why This Trip Stands Out

This is not a coach tour with one quick Cotswolds photo stop. Four nights are based in the region, and the itinerary is built around actual walks between villages, through valleys and across the English countryside.

  • Travel in a small group capped at 20 travelers.
  • Walk through Burford, Lower Slaughter, Bourton-on-the-Water and Bibury.
  • Hike the Golden Valley and visit Chedworth Roman Villa.
  • Enjoy traditional afternoon tea and a lunch at Bibury Trout Farm.
  • Bookend the Cotswolds with Windsor and a final night in London.

A Good Match?

Who This Trip Is Best For

Active travelers who want the Cotswolds to be the main event and would rather experience the villages and countryside on foot than mostly through a coach window.

Before You Choose It

A Few Things to Know

This is a physically active walking program. Expect up to four hours of walking or hiking on touring days, with hills, uneven and rocky terrain, stairs, steep steps and elevation changes. Good physical conditioning is important, and walking sticks are recommended.
