Emily in Paris Season 6 Filming Locations: Mykonos, Monaco & Paris Travel Ideas

If Emily in Paris has you wanting to book another trip to Europe, Season 6 is giving us plenty of inspiration.

The sixth and final season premieres December 24, 2026, and takes Emily through Greece and Monaco before bringing the story back to Paris.

Filming in Greece included Mykonos, which gives us a very different look from Paris and Monaco. You could absolutely turn all three into one bigger Europe trip, but you do not have to. Sometimes one scene is enough to make you think, “I want to go there.”

Mykonos looks like the Greece a lot of people picture

Whitewashed buildings, bright blue water, little streets winding through town, waterfront restaurants and beautiful hotels make Mykonos an easy fit for Emily in Paris.

Season 6 filmed around places including Agios Sostis Beach, Matogiannia Street and Little Venice. Agios Sostis is on the quieter side of the island, which is a good reminder that Mykonos is not only beach clubs and nightlife.

You can absolutely have the glamorous Mykonos trip with beach clubs, shopping and late nights. You can also spend your time at quieter beaches, wander Mykonos Town, take a boat out for the day, have long dinners by the water and make the hotel part of the experience.

There are a few easy ways to work Mykonos into a Greece trip

A Greek Isles cruise is one of the easiest. Mykonos is a common cruise stop, and one sailing can let you see several islands without packing and unpacking every few days.

If you like the idea of a smaller ship, I already have a Greek Islands small-ship itinerary with Mykonos, Santorini, Patmos, Milos and more, roundtrip from Athens. It is a good example of how much of the Aegean you can see while only unpacking once.

If you want more time on the islands, ferry hopping gives you a completely different trip. Mykonos can pair naturally with other Cycladic islands, and staying a few nights in each place lets you experience them after the day visitors leave.

Flying can make sense too. Athens and Mykonos are easy to combine by air, especially when Athens is part of the trip for history, food and sightseeing.

There are packaged options as well. For example, this Athens, Mykonos and Santorini itinerary puts the mainland and two iconic islands together without having to build every transfer and hotel separately.

Those are examples, not limits. If you like parts of one itinerary but want different islands, more beach time, fewer moves or a completely different pace, I can build a custom trip around what you actually want to see.

How long would I spend in Mykonos?

If you are staying on the island, around three or four nights works well for a lot of trips. That gives you time for Mykonos Town, the beach, a couple of good dinners and some actual downtime.

If Mykonos is one stop on a cruise, you obviously have less time. In that case, I would focus on the part of the island that made you want to go instead of trying to cover the whole thing in a day.

Then Season 6 heads to Monaco

Monaco gives the season a completely different feel. It is tiny, polished and glamorous, with Monte Carlo, luxury hotels, yachts, the casino and the Mediterranean all packed into a very small area.

You do not need a week there. A night or two can be fun if staying in Monaco is part of the experience, especially if you want to enjoy Monte Carlo in the evening.

It also fits very naturally into a French Riviera trip. Nice, Cannes, Antibes and Monaco are close enough that you can choose where you actually want to stay and explore from there.

If that side of Season 6 is what catches your attention, this Paris, Provence and French Riviera itinerary is a good example of how Monaco can be part of a much bigger France trip instead of the whole vacation.

Paris is still the heart of Emily in Paris

The final season eventually comes back to Paris, which feels right.

Fans of the show can visit plenty of places they have seen throughout the series because many of the cafés, streets, neighborhoods, hotels and landmarks are real.

It can be fun to work some of those into a Paris trip. I just would not spend the entire vacation racing from one filming location to another.

Paris has too much else worth seeing. You can stop at a place from the show while you are already exploring a neighborhood, walking along the Seine, shopping or heading to dinner. The show becomes part of the trip without taking over the trip.

If it is your first trip to Paris, give it some time

I like around four or five nights as a starting point for a first Paris trip.

You can certainly see Paris faster, but then the trip starts turning into a schedule of reservations and attractions. A little more time gives you room for the major sights plus the things that tend to happen in between them.

A café you decide to stay at longer than planned. A neighborhood you did not expect to like as much as you do. Shopping. Walking along the Seine. Finding somewhere for dinner because it looks good instead of because it was on the schedule three months earlier.

That is part of Paris too.

Could you really do Mykonos, Monaco and Paris in one vacation?

Absolutely, if you have enough time.

Paris and Monaco fit together pretty naturally because Monaco can be part of a French Riviera itinerary. Greece adds another country and another flight.

For a longer vacation, Paris, the French Riviera and Greece could be an amazing trip. For a shorter vacation, I would probably let the show inspire one part of Europe and save the rest for another trip.

The same show can inspire completely different trips

You could do Paris and the French Riviera, with a few days in Paris followed by time along the Mediterranean and a visit to Monaco.

You could do Athens and Mykonos, then add another Greek island by ferry.

You could take a Greek Isles cruise and see Mykonos along with several other islands in one trip.

You could spend a week or two island hopping.

Or, with enough time, you could combine France and Greece and turn it into a bigger European vacation.

That is probably my favorite thing about using a show like this for travel inspiration. You do not have to copy the itinerary.

Maybe what you really want is the Emily in Paris feeling

Sometimes it is not a specific hotel or beach that makes you want to go.

Maybe it is sitting outside at a Paris café, walking through little white streets in Greece, getting dressed up for dinner, staying somewhere beautiful on the Mediterranean or having a long lunch with a view of the water.

That part is easy to miss when everyone starts making lists of filming locations.

A television show can give you a destination, but it can also give you an idea of how you want a vacation to feel.

Can you visit the Season 6 filming locations?

Many of them, yes.

Mykonos, Monaco and Paris are all easy to turn into real trips, and many Emily in Paris locations are actual beaches, streets, restaurants, hotels and neighborhoods.

Season 6 has not aired yet, so we will know a lot more about the places everyone falls in love with once the episodes come out in December.

For now, Mykonos, Monaco and Paris give us plenty of ideas.
