Sample Itinerary
Days 1–3 | Tokyo
Arrive with an included transfer and meet the solo-only group over a hands-on dinner experience. Explore Tokyo’s major neighborhoods, shrines and older districts before boarding the bullet train for Nagano.
Days 4–5 | Nagano & Matsumoto
Wake at the temple for a morning ritual, visit the famous snow monkeys and spend time around Nagano. Continue with a visit to Matsumoto Castle before heading farther west.
Day 6 | Fukui
Travel by rail to Fukui for mountain temple scenery, a traditional craft visit and a ryokan stay that adds a quieter regional side of Japan to the trip.
Days 7–8 | Kyoto
Continue to Kyoto for time in historic neighborhoods, shrines and temples, with space to choose how much structured sightseeing or independent exploring you want.
Days 9–11 | Hiroshima, Miyajima & Osaka
Travel west to Hiroshima for its Peace Memorial sites and an excursion to Miyajima, then continue to Osaka where the trip finishes.
